Property Overview
Sawmill is a modern 6-storey building offering 117 CLT-operated units. It’s designed with a strong focus on community, sustainability, and collaborative living.


Parking & Car Share
Limited residential parking is available. In addition, residents and community members have access to MODO car share services.

– 1-bed: $1,592
This 117-unit co-op receives financial assistance through the Province’s Community Housing Fund. It is designed to be a mixed-income community supporting a range of incomes and household sizes.
- 20% of the homes are set aside for people relying on income assistance from the government. Their rents range from $445 to $725 per month.
- 50% of the homes feature rents capped at 30% of people’s incomes up to a maximum of $1,450 (1-bed), $1,800 (2-bed) and $2,150 (3-bed). For example, a household living in a 2-bedroom home earning $60,000 a year will pay $1,500 a month.
- 30% of the homes feature rents set closer to (but not at) market rates, for people whose incomes exceed the limits set by BC Housing. These rents are currently $1,273 (Studio) $1,592 (1-bed), $2,229 (2-bed) and $2,653 (3-bed) $2,400 (Townhouse 2-bed) $2,750 (Townhouse 3-bed). ONLY STUDIO and 1-BEDs are available
The range of rents is designed to maintain a viable co-op while being affordable to people with a broad mix of incomes.

At Sawmill Co-op, we welcome individuals and families seeking stable, affordable housing. To ensure a good fit, applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Income Eligibility: Gross monthly household income must not exceed the maximum for the applicable unit type.
- Household Size: The number of bedrooms must correspond with your household size.
- Affordability: Monthly housing charges will not exceed a set percentage of gross income.
- Credit & References: Applicants must pass credit and reference checks.
- Residency: Canadian citizenship or residency status is required.
